Industrial Park

One of the aspects of photography I like most is the opportunity it provides to find beauty in unexpected places. No one thinks of industrial areas as a vacation paradise, but their omnipresence has spawned a design school that embraces exposed ductwork, distressed surfaces, and reclamation of “work” buildings as places to live and play.

I feel like these long exposures tap into that craving and add a dreamlike aspect that doubles down on their subjective content. They also complement some of my other collections, including Roadside, Night Neighborhood, and especially West Bottoms.
